The Design Studio runs in your browser. Your design, details and PDF stay on your device until you press "Send my design for a quote".
How your requests reach us
When you send a sample, showroom, home visit or quote request, the details you entered are sent to Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website. Netlify stores the request together with your IP address, browser type and the page you sent it from, checks it for spam (using Akismet), and emails it to us at sales@kandstone.co.uk. If sending fails, your own email app opens with the request ready for you to send instead.
Netlify is based in the United States and may process your details there. Where data leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
Who we share your data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), our email provider, and our customer records. They act on our instructions. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp receives data under its own policy. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep customer information for 12 months, then delete it. This includes the copies of your requests stored with Netlify and in our email.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser's local storage only for these essential items, which never leave your device:

Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or move it to another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email sales@kandstone.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
